A little bit about us...
Seraphus is a specialist solicitors firm based in London, UK. After several years of gaining experience and knowhow within some of the largest immigration practices in England, the team at Seraphus decided to work towards a more personalised and modern approach to legal advice. This approach has been successful, as we have had very good feedback from our clients (see their testimonials here) as well as from our regulators. We take our work (and our reputation) very seriously, and this approach has been reflected in success audits and inspections. Seraphus has since been successful in a contract tender with Legal Services Commission, this enables Seraphus to offer legal aid services. Legal aid helps with the costs of legal advice for people who cannot afford it. This means we are able to provide free advice, funded by the Legal Services Commission, to some of the most vulnerable people in the UK, including those seeking asylum. Further assisting our aim to be more than just a business.
Our Team
Christopher Desira was the head of department at one of the largest immigration legal aid firms in England before moving on to establish Seraphus. He is a practicing Solicitor and a qualified Legal Services Commission Accredited Senior Caseworker and Supervisor. He brings with him ten years of legal, supervisory and managerial experience.
Christopher Benn started his career at a non-governmental human rights organisation in Egypt before moving back to the UK to work in the immigration as well as criminal law. He has a Masters in International Human Rights. He has many years of legal experience, and is a qualified Legal Services Commission Accredited Senior Caseworker and Supervisor. He last supervised a team of excellent immigration lawyers at his previous employer before joining Christopher Desira at Seraphus.
