He is accused of trying to wipe out three non-Arab ethnic groups in the region, where more than 200,000 people have died since 2003.

The Hague court issues arrest warrant for Sudanese president. The arrest warrant said there were "reasonable grounds to believe" Sudanese forces attempted genocide against the Darfur tribal groups Fur, Masalit and Zaghawa.
