EU Citizens' Rights Event by Seraphus in London

Chris Benn gave a talk about the future rights of EU citizens in the UK following Brexit to the My Life My Say (MLMS) organisation; the event was billed as a Brexit Café discussion and took place in central London.

MLMS is a youth-led, non-partisan charity on a mission to rebrand politics and evolve relationships between young people and decision-makers. MLMS is best known for championing the voice of 4.5 million young Brits in the Brexit negotiations and the organisation is also an active member of the UK Government’s National Democracy Council. Given the highly significant impact and Brexit will have on young people the evening included very interesting and stimulating points, not just the actual legal rights that the EU citizens will have in the UK, but also about the feelings, concerns and issues that young EU citizens see themselves facing with as we move forwards into post-Brexit UK society.
