Filip Angelov

Solicitor (Scotland qualified)

Filip joined Seraphus in 2021 after many years of experience in law firms and a community law centre. He works on a full range of immigration matters assisting business clients, skilled workers, and families.

Filip has a keen interest in EU law and is passionate about advancing and protecting EU citizens’ rights in the UK after Brexit. He conducts complex EU Settlement Scheme casework and appeal work. Filip has been involved in many projects with our charity partners providing legal advice and support to marginalised EU citizens including with homeless and Roma clients. He provides second tier supervisory advice to EUSS immigration advisors at the charity New Europeans.

Filip lives in Scotland and is a Scottish qualified Solicitor. He holds a Bachelor of Law, and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Glasgow. Filip is fluent in Bulgarian.
