Mauricio Cruz
Mauricio Cruz is a Senior Immigration Legal Advisor, advising individuals, families and businesses on personal and business immigration law. His expertise includes complex EU Settlement Scheme applications, family visas, private life applications, settlement applications, sponsored and unsponsored work visas and employer sponsor licence applications.
Prior to joining Seraphus in 2024, Mauricio spent a decade developing his advice experience in the private and non-profit sectors including at a leading immigration law firm and at a Latin American community organisation supervising legal advice.
Mauricio is dedicated to making legal information accessible. As such, he leads on immigration content creation and webinar delivery for Scotland’s Migration Service, a Scottish Government led initiative supporting employers to recruit and retain international staff. He also develops and delivers training courses.
Mauricio is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Law (MA) and is a fluent Spanish speaker.
