Mauricio Cruz
Mauricio Cruz joined Seraphus in 2024 as a Senior Caseworker.
He brings with him a decade of experience as an immigration adviser, having worked at a leading immigration law firm where he achieved the highest accreditation under the OISC. There, he advised businesses, individuals, and families on a wide range of immigration routes.
Committed to supporting his community, Mauricio transitioned to a prominent Latin American organisation, applying his expertise to assist Latin American migrants and families in the UK. His experience in both the private and non-profit sectors, coupled with his comprehensive understanding of immigration issues, enables him to provide insightful and practical advice to a diverse range of clients.
In addition to his casework, Mauricio regularly develops and delivers training courses on key immigration topics, including British citizenship, the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS), and Article 8 Private life applications. His dedication to making legal information accessible is also reflected in his numerous media appearances, including migration-related projects, interviews, and public workshops.
Mauricio is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Law (MA) and is a fluent Spanish speaker.
