Chris Benn
Chris leads legal and policy work at Seraphus. He has over 15 years’ experience in immigration and asylum law and is an accredited Supervisor under the Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme. As a leading expert in European citizen rights, Chris is special advisor to the European Union Delegation in the UK and works with a range of stakeholders to progress legal and policy changes. In the run up to Brexit, Chris collaborated with organisations throughout the UK, to deliver information and advice sessions to help EU Citizens to secure their rights to stay in the UK.
Chris has a masters in Human Rights Law from the University of Essex and has previously worked at Freedom From Torture, Refugee Action, Mind as well as working internationally on refugee issues.
